Jon Schaefer received his law degree in 1982 from DePaul University.
In addition to being licensed by the State of Illinois, Jon is also admitted to the United States District Courts for the Northern (Trial Bar), Central and Southern Districts of Illinois, the Eastern District of Michigan and the District of Colorado, as well as the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Jon currently concentrates his practice principally on the defense of casualty losses, such as negligence, transportation, products liability, and medical malpractice, and has tried cases in both the state court and the United States District Court.
He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute.
