In the article, Amy discusses the substantial amendments to the Illinois statute governing the use of special interrogatories at trial. These amendments went into effect for all trials starting January 2020 and have important implications for parties considering issuing special interrogatories to a jury. The article also discusses practical tips for attorneys on the use of special interrogatories.
