Emma Nowacki is a Senior Associate in the firm’s litigation department. Ms. Nowacki has successfully represented clients in a wide range of areas including construction, transportation, civil rights, and premises liability in both federal and state court. She has also drafted appellate court briefs and presented multiple oral arguments before the Illinois First District Court of Appeals. As a former Cook County prosecutor, Ms. Nowacki tried 14 jury trials and hundreds of bench trials.
Ms. Nowacki graduated from DePaul University College of Law where she was a teaching assistant for a first year legal writing class and a member of the Center for Justice in Capital Cases. She currently is a volunteer and member of the Auxiliary Board for Lydia Home, a group home for boys and girls.
