Appellate court affirms P&W defense verdict in triple fatality trial

The First District Appellate Court upheld a jury verdict obtained by P&W in favor of a regional trucking company and its driver. The plaintiffs were the families of three elderly decedents who were passengers in sedan that crossed the centerline and caused a collision with the defendant-truck driver. After a two week trial and a demand of $25 million in compensatory damages, it took the jury less than an hour to find our clients not liable.
